1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using APIOutlet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

APIOutlet is an API aggregation platform that provides unified access to third-party APIs. We act as a gateway, routing your requests to the appropriate provider. We do not own or control the third-party APIs accessed through our platform.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. API Usage

  • API keys are personal and may not be shared or resold.
  • You must comply with rate limits associated with your plan.
  • You may not use the Service for illegal activities, including but not limited to: fraud, spam, DDoS attacks, or accessing unauthorized data.
  • You must comply with the terms of service of the underlying API providers.

5. Billing and Payments

  • The Service operates on a prepaid balance model. You add funds to your account, and charges are deducted per API request.
  • Pricing is displayed in USD and may vary by provider and endpoint.
  • All payments are processed through Stripe.
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion. Unused balance may be refunded within 30 days of purchase.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

APIOutlet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Downtime or errors of third-party API providers.
  • Data loss or corruption resulting from use of the Service.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
  • Any damages exceeding the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

The APIOutlet name, logo, and platform are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without permission. You retain ownership of the data you send through our platform.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your remaining balance will be refunded (minus any outstanding charges).

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which APIOutlet operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
